In Conclusion

On August 31st 2010 at the age of 7 1/2 years our beloved boy 'Rex" Grand Champion Bobern Mastrs

Aprentice HSAs, sadly and regretfully was put to sleep.

He was suffering an incurable cancer and could no longer go on.

The day that the incurable cancer was diagnoised he had to be put regetfully to sleep as there was no other option.

His last show being bravely run at the Ekka with a second in his class.

His second last show being another Best in Show at Kalbar.

This lovely boy had many achievements in such a short time and with limited progeny

has become a 'Limited Edition' in the Border Collie world.

Rex was a great show dog who in his achievements won Best in Show's, Reserve in Show, Runner Up in

Speciality Show, all classes in Show and reserve champion at the Ekka 2008.

Despite these wins his best in Group win was at the Ekka 2009 was the highlight. He made us proud.

He also achieved in the herding trials as well as getting his HSAs and first leg in HSBs with a score

of 90. He placed 4th out of 8 in a farm course being a little more challenging for him - He loved

herding and was a reliable when putting the sheep away at night.

He was always good with the kids, the other pets like our cats, he loved to ride on the back of the

truck with the wind in his face and hair.

On a personal note he was extremely loyal to me , never hesitating to do his best for me.

 I loved that about him. He left us many memories and stories to tell.

Rex had his critics and unfortunately their critisms were unfair,

born out of a competitive spirit and spite. Please leave him now in peace.

He didn't deserve your critism as you never really knew him like we did.

He was and still is the 'Best of the Best', loved and adored by many and hated by few.

I believe without a doubt that this dog has gone to heaven, being a good and faithful dog.

He will be missed dearly everyday and not forgotten.

I loved him dearly
