Book Review: All about the Working Border Collie by Marjorie Quarton
I found that the origins and history of the breed is well covered in this book, I found it very informative in understanding why the breed is like it is today. How the in breeding of other breeds has effected the Border Collie to this day, regarding it's colour and temperment issues. This helped us understand why the red and white type of Border Collie was the way they are when there is temperment issues.
This book covers origins, temperament, buying, care, training, breeding and working.
Another good book to have on your bookshelf.
